SAS: Who Dares Wins 2023 will follow a score of new recruits as they take on the infamously difficult selection process and are pushed to their limits by the instructors. Returning instructor Mark Billingham, who has worked as directing staff on real SAS selection, will take on the role of Chief Instructor this season.

He will once again be joined by former Royal Marine and SBS sergeant Jason Fox and former US Marine turned martial artist and actor Rudy Reyes. Chris Oliver, a former Special Forces Operator, will join the series as an instructor, replacing Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke who left the show after just one series.

Speaking of his new role, Chris said: “The values I intend to instil in the recruits, as part of the DS, have been forged on operations where we have lost good operators, so they had better be under no illusions - anyone who doesn’t play by the rules will pay the price.”

The new series, called Jungle Hell, features new challenges as the show was filmed in Vietnam for the first time. The contestants will be taken into the heart of the ‘deepest, darkest, most unforgiving jungle in the world’ located in the north of the country.

Billingham is serving as Chief Instructor due to his experience in similar environments - he spent 27 years with the SAS and for half of his military career he operated in the jungle. Over the course of six gruelling weeks, the instructors will whittle down the recruits and discover who has what it takes to pass selection.
