The Masked Dancer is a British version of the American show of the same name, which is itself a spin-off of The Masked Singer.

Instead of singing, 12 anonymised celebrities in extravagant costumes will dance for the four judges as they try to keep their identities hidden.

It is up to the judges to figure out who the celebrities are, but without even their voice to give them away, it will be a tricky endeavour.

Olympic gymnast Louis Smith became the first winner of the British version of the show - he had been disguised as a carwash.

Another dozen celebrities will be taking to the stage this year in a variety of wacky getups that they hope will be a perfect disguise.

What are the Masked Dancer costumes?

Derek McLean, managing director of production company Bandicoot, and creative director Daniel Nettleton said: “The Masked Dancer wowed audiences last year and we’re thrilled to bring back the show for another series of crazy costumes, mind-blowing moves and maddeningly compelling clues.
