Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, who have starred in nearly every season of Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series, are nowhere to be seen.

Sarah Paulson revealed that she wasn’t sure if she would return for another season of American Horror Story in an interview with Variety earlier this year.

Sarah said: “It’s not that I’m not open to it. I’m always open to it, but I feel like I’ve been doing it for a long time, and people might start getting sick of me in that world.”

“Let someone else scream and run and cry for a second. Other people can do that too! Also, my nervous system. There was a time when I was younger when I was like, ‘I can do this all night. I love it!’ Now I’m like, ‘Momma’s tired!’”

Evan has not spoken about his involvement in the latest season of American Horror Story, but the star recently landed the lead role in Netflix’s Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

It is worth noting that both actors could potentially make surprise guest appearances in the 11th series, although it is looking rather unlikely.

Evan Peters was announced to play Dahmer in March 2021 and spent around a year working on the series.

The 10-part series created by American Horror Story director Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan follows the story of Jeffrey Dahmer - one of America’s most notorious serial killers - and his victims.

It details the murders of 17 young men and boys at the hands of the Milwaukee killer between 1978 and 1991.

Speaking to Variety about his role as the notorious serial killer, Peters said: “I’ve read so much, I’ve watched so much.

“I’ve seen so much, and at a certain point, you’ve got to say, ‘All right, that’s enough. There are beautifully written scripts. You can have all the backstory you want, but at the end of the day we’re not making a documentary.”

The star who portrayed Tate Langdon in AHS recently admitted that his new acting role as Dahmer was one of the hardest things he has had to do in his life.

In an interview with Netflix, the actor said he was “scared” to take on the role due to Dahmer’s horrific past, adding that he had to go to “dark places” during filming to portray the killer.
