Happy Mother’s Day from PeopleWorld to all the mums out there celebrating on this special day. Where would we be without the love, support and even the odd bit of discipline growing up without that special person in our lives that has nurtured us into who we are today? We hope you got your mum something extravagant this year to celebrate!
Much like the rest of us, many of our favourite celebrities since the advent of social media have shared their love and fondness for the matriarchs in their family. From Reese Witherspoon spending mother’s day not only with her own but as a mother to three daughters, to a touching tribute from John Travolta to the late Kelly Preston in memory of the loving mother she was to her three children.

Even those so-called ‘nepo babies’ have championed the importance of their mother’s in their lives, with Maya Hawke for example regularly posting on social media pictures of herself with her mum, Uma Thurman. Or how about the endearing images each year of Kate Hudson with her celebrity mother, Goldie Hawn?
But for a number of people, 2023 marks the very first time that they’ll get to celebrate Mother’s Day, having welcomed their newborns into the world last year. This also includes several celebrities who celebrated the birth of their firstborns last year, and now we get to celebrate another milestone in parenthood - the first Mother’s Day in what we hope will be many for them.

So who from the celebrity world will be celebrating their first Mother’s Day, having welcomed their firstborns into the world after 2022’s edition? Although it may not be Mother's Day in the States, this doesn't mean US celebrities can't celebrate with their UK counterpoarts.
