What did Kylie Jenner say about her son’s name?

On her Instagram story, Jenner revealed that she and Scott had made the decision to change their son’s name.

She wrote: “FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore, we just really didn’t feel like it was him.

“Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

The video, titled To Our Son, is nine minutes long and features personal messages from family members including reality megastars Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kris Jenner.

Jenner reveals her pregnancy craving was steak, eating “red meat for lunch and dinner and a baked potato, just a lot of meat”.

Also sharing the moment she gave birth, Scott can be heard saying to the newborn: “What up big boy.”

What’s his new name?

The couple have not yet said what their son’s new name will be.

When the newborn’s name was first announced, the reaction online, predictably, saw many making fun of Jenner and Scott’s odd choice in name.

Reaction to the news that the name has been changed has drawn a similar response - although many have expressed that, while it’s unusual to change your baby’s name a month after their birth, it’s probably for the best.

One person wrote: “WE REALLY BULLIED KYLIE JENNER AND TRAVIS SCOTT INTO CHANGING BABY WOLF’S NAME I’M DEAD.”

Another tweeted: “omg kylie’s son is not named wolf anymore… thank god.”

“Not Kylie going “lol jk wolf webster is a lame name so we changed it” like GIRL,” wrote another.

When did Kylie Jenner give birth?

Jenner announced that she had given birth to her son via a post on her Instagram, which revealed that he arrived on 2 February.

The 24-year-old shared a black and white photo which showed her holding that baby’s tiny hand. While she did not reveal the gender of her child at the time, some speculated that the blue love heart emojis used in the Instagram announcement could indicate that the baby was a boy, which turned out to be correct.

In the caption of the post she simply wrote: “2/2/22.”

She confirmed that she was pregnant with her second child in September 2021, when she posted a video on Instagram which showed her handing a positive pregnancy test to her partner Travis Scott.

The video showed a montage of different clips, including Scott smiling and hugging Jenner’s stomach, and Jenner getting an ultrasound at the hospital. The video ended with her and Scott’s daughter, Stormi, kissing her baby bump.

Their son is the second child of Jenner and Scott, after she gave birth to their daughter Stormi Webster in February 2018.

What has Kylie Jenner said about her postpartum experience?

Jenner recently opened up about how her experience after giving birth to her son has been more difficult in comparison to that of her daughter.

Posting in a series of Instagram stories on Tuesday 15 March, Jenner said that things have “not been easy”, six weeks after giving birth to her baby boy.

Jenner said that this time around, postpartum had been difficult “mentally, physically, [and] spiritually”.

She said that she wanted to share her thoughts and feelings because she knew how much pressure other mother’s can feel to return to normal as quickly as possible.

Jenner added: “It hasn’t been easy for me, either. It’s been hard, and I just wanted to say that.”
