A47 crash: Norfolk carriageway shut after 'police-led incident' as drivers warned of delays

National Highways said the A47 in both directions between the A1064 (Acle) and the A1270 (Postwick, Norwich) was closed due to the incident.

The traffic service said it is known when the road will re-open due to the nature of the incident. Diversion routes are currently in place.

National Highways said: “Delays are likely on approach to the closure and diversion routes. If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.”
