Crufts returned to the NEC Birmingham for a four day event celebrating dogs from all over the globe.
Organised by the Kennel Club, the annual canine event highlights all the roles that dogs have in our lives, from police dog displays to best in show.

Unfortunately due to Covid-19, last year’s event was cancelled, but it returned with what was its biggest event yet.
Although the event finished on Sunday (13 March), viewers can still watch all the programming and highlights on Channel 4.
Over 16,000 dogs competed for just seven places in the show’s final, representing each of the individual groups.

Who won Best in Show?
Crufts biggest prize is the coveted Best in Show, which is awarded to the top dog in the final event.
This year’s Best in Show was awarded to Flat Coated Retriever Baxer, who beat the other six finalists.
Baxer had also previously won the top prize in the Gun Dog group earlier in the weekend.

His stunned owner, Patrick Oware, described Baxer as “just a fantastic dog” and told host Claire Balding that he “didn’t have any words.”
“I’m really proud of him and it’s just a true credit to his breeders,” he added.
Balding told the audience how Baxer had been “wagging his tail all day”
