I’ve just spotted an Asda offer that could be worth knowing about if you’re planning your next supermarket shop. New online grocery customers able to get £20 off when you spend £60 or more.
There’s also free delivery to follow, making this more than just a one-off discount. After your first qualifying shop, Asda will send you a voucher for free delivery on further orders of £40 or more, as long as they’re delivered within 30 days of your first order. With supermarket prices still something many of us are keeping a close eye on, £20 off a £60 shop immediately caught my attention. But there are a few things you need to do to qualify, so here’s exactly how the Asda offer works.
The offer is for new Asda online grocery customers and you need to register online with by 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 September. Your shop needs to be worth £60 or more, although Asda says some excluded items don't count towards the minimum spend. Your first order must be collected or delivered by 11.59pm on Wednesday 14 October.
The £20 discount is the main reason this offer caught my eye, but Asda is also offering free delivery on your next orders. After your first order, you’ll receive a voucher for free delivery on orders of £40 or more. The voucher can be used on orders delivered within 30 days of your first shop, so it could be useful if you’re planning to keep using Asda for your grocery shopping.
I’ve only just found this offer and the £20 saving is what makes it stand out to me. If you’re a new Asda grocery customer and already have a £60 shop to do, it could be a straightforward way to knock £20 off the cost, with free delivery on qualifying orders to follow.
