Black Friday 2026: 10 products our reviewers are waiting to see discounted

From Dyson and Ninja to Kindle, Yoto and premium coffee machines, our reviewers reveal the products they already rate and are hoping to see heavily discounted this Black Friday.
Black Friday is still weeks away, but sales are already starting and shoppers are increasingly looking for the products worth watching before the biggest November discounts arrive.
NationalWorld's writers spend the year testing everything from £1,000 robot vacuums and premium coffee machines to Kindles, air fryers, beauty gadgets and children's technology. So rather than fill another Black Friday guide with products we have never used, we have picked 10 things our reviewers already know they like.
Some are expensive purchases where £100 or £200 off could completely change the verdict. Others are Christmas gifts our writers already recommend and would be even easier to suggest if the right Black Friday deal appears.
These are the products on our Black Friday watchlist.
Amazon Echo Show 11: Rochelle Barrand
Rochelle Barrand originally thought adding a screen to Alexa was unnecessary. After living with the Echo Show 11 for months, her opinion could hardly be more different.

As she explained in her full Amazon Echo Show 11 review: "I can't imagine going back to a speaker without a screen."
The display has become a digital photo frame, recipe screen, weather station and way of seeing Alexa's answers when household noise makes them difficult to hear. Rochelle uses hers in her home office and says the rotating family photographs have become one of her favourite features.

This is also a product where waiting could pay off. The Echo Show 11 dropped from £249.99 to £134.99 during Amazon's October promotion, so we know Amazon is willing to make substantial cuts.
That £134.99 price is the benchmark we would be using when Black Friday arrives.
Kindle Colorsoft: Rochelle Barrand
Rochelle used the same Kindle Paperwhite for around 12 years before deciding she was finally ready to upgrade.

She chose the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition and, as she wrote in her Kindle Colorsoft review, the difference was immediately obvious.
Her verdict was simple: "I absolutely love my new Kindle Colorsoft."
The colour screen gives book covers, highlights and the Kindle Store a completely different feel, while the newer hardware is noticeably faster than her ageing Paperwhite.
Price remains the reason we would watch rather than rush. During Amazon's October sale, the 16GB model fell to £144.99 from £259.99 and the 32GB version to £174.99 from £289.99.
Any Black Friday deal needs to be judged against those very aggressive prices.
Ninja Crispi DualZone: Rochelle Barrand
Rochelle's new Ninja Crispi DualZone has become one of the appliances she uses virtually every day.

It is not simply the Rose Quartz finish she likes. The transparent glass cooking containers mean she can see exactly what is happening without opening the air fryer and interrupting the cooking process.
In her hands-on Ninja Crispi DualZone review, she concluded: "It has earned its place on my worktop."
The two glass containers can also go straight onto the table and come with lids for storing leftovers, while two independent zones make it possible to prepare different foods simultaneously.
See the Ninja Crispi DualZone here and check its latest price.
The catch is the £299.99 launch price. Rochelle thinks the appliance earns that premium through the amount she uses it, but it is still a substantial purchase.
It has already briefly fallen to £249.99. Anything meaningfully below that would immediately get our attention.
Yoto Mini: Natalie Dixon
Natalie Dixon has tested plenty of products aimed at families, but the Yoto Mini is one she has repeatedly recommended in real life.

She took it on a camping trip involving five hours in the car on the way there, six hours on the way home and some very wet weather in between.
In her Yoto Mini review, Natalie wrote: "The Yoto Mini has become one of those products I recommend to all my mum friends."
It gives children stories, music and activities without reaching for another phone or tablet, while the compact size makes it particularly useful for journeys and holidays.
There is now a fourth-generation Yoto Mini too, adding another dimension to Black Friday. We will be watching both the hardware prices and bundles containing Yoto Cards, because a strong bundle could be better value than the biggest standalone percentage discount.
Dyson Airwrap: Natalie Dixon
A Dyson Airwrap was recommended to Natalie by her hairdresser, which eventually persuaded her to try one for herself.

In her Dyson Airwrap review, she wrote: "My hair looks smooth, voluminous, and styled without the hefty salon bills."
Natalie uses the Coanda smoothing dryer first before moving to the barrels on damp hair, and says the curls hold well while the waves look natural.
This is one of the clearest examples of a product where Black Friday can matter. Airwraps cost hundreds of pounds and previous promotions have knocked around £100 off some versions.
A token reduction would not particularly excite us. A three-figure saving would.
Philips 5500 Series coffee machine: Gareth Butterfield
Gareth Butterfield lived with the Philips 5500 Series for weeks before deciding it came close to being the Rolls-Royce of automated coffee machines.
It has a touchscreen, 20 coffee styles, user profiles, automatic cleaning and the LatteGo milk system. The main obstacle was its original price of around £650.
In his full Philips 5500 Series review, Gareth wrote: "It genuinely is an absolute joy to use."
He found relatively little to criticise beyond the time it takes to prepare several drinks and the learning curve involved in matching serving sizes to mugs.
It had already fallen to £549.99 when Gareth reviewed it. Black Friday becomes particularly interesting if another substantial cut takes a machine he already rates highly further into mainstream premium-coffee-machine territory.
Eufy Omni E35 robot vacuum: Marc Reeves
I approached the Eufy Omni E35 expecting my small, irregular cottage to defeat it.

There are changing floor surfaces, rugs, furniture legs, thresholds and awkward rooms, but after 16 cleaning sessions it had proved considerably more capable than I expected.
In my Eufy Omni E35 review, I wrote: "At somewhere closer to £699, I would find the E35 significantly easier to recommend."
That sentence is basically our Black Friday target.
At £999 it was an impressive luxury rather than an essential appliance. It vacuums extremely well, mops effectively, automatically washes and dries its mop and has made keeping our floors consistently clean noticeably easier.
A £200 or £300 reduction changes the value equation far more than a retailer sticking a Black Friday badge on a £50 saving.
Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser: Rochelle Barrand
The Velvetiser has an advantage over many products appearing in Christmas gift guides: Rochelle has owned one for more than five years.

It was originally a surprise Christmas present from her twin brother and remains something she uses regularly. She has since tested Hotel Chocolat's newer model, which adds a cold-chocolate setting.
In her new Velvetiser review, Rochelle wrote: "I still rank it as one of the best gifts I've ever received."
That makes it particularly attractive for Christmas coverage. We will be looking beyond the machine price too, because packages containing chocolate sachets, cups or other extras can make a bundle better value even without a huge headline discount.
The current model has an RRP of £119.95, giving us a clear number against which to judge any November deal.
FOREO LUNA 4: Natalie Dixon
Natalie has spent several weeks trying the FOREO LUNA 4, a premium facial cleansing and massage device.

She particularly likes the tactile experience, adjustable settings and the way it makes a routine cleansing step feel more indulgent.
Her FOREO LUNA 4 review is deliberately cautious about the longer-term claims, but she says: "It feels lovely against my skin, the cleansing experience feels thorough."
That caution is also why a Black Friday discount matters. This is a premium beauty gadget rather than a necessity, and Natalie has not claimed dramatic changes she has not personally seen.
A sizeable reduction could make the enjoyable cleansing experience much easier to justify as either a personal purchase or Christmas gift.
Jo Malone London Vanilla Scotch: Julie Bayley
Julie Bayley has already found a favourite among Jo Malone London's Christmas 2026 launches.

Vanilla Scotch combines vanilla and amber with a distinctive whisky note and comes dressed with a blue tartan ribbon as part of the Scottish Highlands-inspired festive collection.
In her Jo Malone Vanilla Scotch review, Julie concluded: "It's Vanilla Scotch that's the absolute winner for me."
The fragrance starts at £25 for 10ml, rises to £60 for 30ml and costs £130 for the full-size 100ml bottle. Julie also praised its staying power, although she acknowledged that £130 makes the largest bottle a luxury purchase.
That combination of genuine enthusiasm, Christmas presentation and premium price makes it an obvious product to monitor during November.
How we'll decide whether a Black Friday deal is actually good
A big percentage printed on a Black Friday banner is not enough on its own.
We will be comparing the new price with what the product has genuinely sold for previously, including the October sale prices we have already seen on products such as the Echo Show 11, Kindle Colorsoft and Ninja Crispi DualZone.
The other advantage is that these recommendations do not start with a retailer press release. Our writers have already put the products into their homes, kitchens, beauty routines, holidays and everyday lives, and their original reviews are there for readers who want the detail behind the recommendation.
As Black Friday develops, we will update this guide when the prices genuinely become good enough to change the buying decision rather than simply adding every product carrying a sale sticker.
Prices and availability can change. We will continue checking these products as Black Friday approaches.
