The Baylis & Harding Jojoba Ladies Advent Calendar offers 24 days of bath and body treats across three fragrances, making it a good option for beauty lovers of all ages.
Advent calendars are no longer just about chocolate, and the Baylis & Harding Jojoba Ladies Advent Calendar is a good example of why beauty and pampering calendars have become such a popular alternative.
Rather than filling each door with make-up or skincare, like so many others, what drew me me this 24-day countdown is that it focuses completely on bath and body treats, with products across three indulgent fragrance fragrances. It is the kind of calendar that is designed around a little bit of everyday luxury, and contains things you will actually use.
Baylis & Harding is already a familiar name when it comes to affordable bath and body gifts, so I could be confident before I even opened one door that I’d get good quality products I liked. Plus at £45, this feels like an accessible option for anyone who enjoys having a pampering treat during the festive season.

What I like about the Bayliss and Harding advent calendar
The biggest appeal of the calendar the focus on bath and body products. Beauty advent calendars can sometimes contain a mixture of products that you know you will love alongside a few that simply are not suited to you, whereas a bath and body-focused countdown has a much more straightforward approach and therefore much wider appeal.
The three different fragrances also add some variety. Rather than opening 24 doors to essentially the same scent, the calendar gives you the chance to discover different fragrances and choose your favourites as you work your way through December.
My personal favourite is Jojoba, Vanilla & Almond Oil, but that is closely followed by Wild Cherry & Vanilla, and I did like the Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit for the fact that it provided a completely different scent profile. The other two are both beautiful scents but because they have vanilla in common as a main ingredient they could be a bit too similar for some people, but the sweet mandarin was something completely different. They all felt very indulgent though.
It’s worth noting that this sits in a different part of the beauty calendar market to some of the much more expensive skincare and make-up options. It’s a good crowd pleaser for all beauty lovers I’d say; you don’t have to worry that things won’t be liked or products aren’t suitable for your skin type or tone, or even your age. These are products that everyone can use and enjoy. That makes it worth considering if you want the excitement of a beauty advent calendar without necessarily spending hundreds of pounds.

What I don’t like about the Bayliss and Harding advent calendar
The biggest limitation is also what makes this calendar appealing, depending on your point of view: it is heavily focused on bath and body care.
If you are looking for a calendar packed with make-up, skincare or high-end beauty products, this probably will not be the one for you.
Plus, that means a lot of the same product types are repeated throughout the calendar; albeit in different scent ranges to add as much variation as possible. For examples, there are two shower gels, two body butters, two bath bombs and more.
For me that isn’t a problem because these are all useable products. You’ll end up using them into 2027, no doubt, but you will always need more shower gel for example. I would rather have multiple products that I’ll actually use than all different products and then find I won’t make use of half of them. But, I must admit for this reason this calendar doesn’t have the same excitement factor as some of the other beauty advent calendars that are available.

My Verdict
The Baylis & Harding Jojoba Ladies Advent Calendar is a lovely option for anyone who sees December as an excuse for a little extra pampering and would like to elevate their everyday beauty routines and self care.
I particularly like that it has a clear identity rather than trying to cover every corner of the beauty market. With 24 bath and body treats across three fragrances, for me, this calendar is all about creating small moments of indulgence and a little bit of ‘me time’ throughout the festive countdown.
Let’s be honest, December is incredibly hectic so you have to treat yourself where you can, but for many there just simply isn’t time to experiement with completely new products, but improving and uplifting something in their existing routine could be perfect. The Baylis & Harding Jojoba Ladies Advent Calendar provides exactly this.

☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.
💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.
⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
