Conor McGregor Miami Heat: UFC star accused of sexually assaulting woman in VIP toilet at 2023 NBA finals basketball game

An anonymous woman has filed a lawsuit in Florida, alleging that the star assaulted her in a VIP toilet at the Kaseya Centre. The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday (14 January), with the woman claiming the assault took place on 9 June.
McGregor was in attendance for the NBA Finals match between Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets. The woman claims that McGregor took her to a private bathroom before launching his alleged attack.

Barbara Llanes, his attorney, released a statement to ESPN after the civil lawsuit was filed. It read: "After a thorough investigation at the time, the State's Attorney concluded that there was no case to pursue. Almost two years and at least three lawyers later the plaintiff has a new false story. We are confident that this case too will be dismissed."
Along with McGregor, the case named the Kaseya Centre and Miami Heat as defendants, alleging they overserved the 36-year-old. McGregor is accused of leading the woman to an arena bathroom, where the suit alleges he “attempted to forcefully place his unprotected penis into Jane Doe’s mouth without her consent.”
It is then alleged the woman attempted to escape before McGregor slammed her into a wall and put her in an arm lock. She is seeking past and future medical treatment, compensatory damages that exceed $75,000, litigation costs, and other relief. The accusation in American civil court comes just two months after McGregor was found liable of assaulting Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in 2018 - with a jury awarding her £200,000 in damages.
