Fantasy Premier League players are preparing for yet another intense double gameweek.

Manchester United are set to host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening - five months after Spurs’ humiliating 3-0 defeat that led to Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking.

Meanwhile, Leeds United will be confident of picking up their first win since January against Norwich, while Newcastle United will face the tough test of keeping up their unbeaten run when they Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.

Here are this week’s Fantasy Premier League tips...

Transfers in

Kyle Walker-Peters

Kyle Walker-Peters has been in great form for Southampton this season and returned from injury against Newcastle United on Thursday night.

While the Saints have suffered successive defeats after a brilliant unbeaten run, they’re are set to host struggling Watford this weekend.

The Hornets are in terrible form and Walker-Peters will be hoping for another stellar performance.

Dejan Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski has impressed since joining Tottenham, scoring twice and providing three assists in the league.

After an impressive 5-0 win over Everton last time out, Spurs now face Manchester United and Brighton over the next week.

Having a Tottenham player is an absolute must during the double gameweek, and the Sweden international is a much cheaper option than Harry Kane or Heung-min Son.

Matty Cash

Matty Cash has been brilliant during Aston Villa’s recent upturn in form, bagging two goals and two assists in three matches.

Steven Gerrard’s side face West Ham this weekend, with David Moyes’ side coming off the back of a defeat in Spain.

Villa will fancy their chances in London, as West Ham have managed only two wins in their last seven league matches.

Transfers out

Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen has been a staple in many people’s fantasy football teams this season, due to his exceptional form that has seen him grab eight goals and eight assists in the league.

However, the attacker picked up an injury against Liverpool last time out and is unlikely to be available this weekend.

Martin Dubravka

Newcastle United are enjoying a spectacular unbeaten run in 2022, however it would be a surprise if Dubravka doesn’t ship in a few goals against Chelsea and Everton.

Their trip to Stamford Bridge will certainly be the more difficult of the two, while the Everton clash could be an interesting one given the Toffees need to pick up some wins to avoid the drop.

It is perhaps a gameweek for the goalkeeper to miss out on.

Reece James

Reece James finally returned to action during the Carabao Cup final last month - music to the ears of fantasy football players.

Many of you will have stuck him straight back in your team, and rightly so as he went onto score on his first start back against Burnley.

However, the defender has since suffered another injury setback and will be sidelined for the rest of the month.

Captain

Trent Alexander-Arnold

As usual, a Liverpool player is often the best option for your captain - especially in a double gameweek.

The Reds face Brighton and Arsenal over the next week, with both fixtures guaranteed to provide goals - one would imagine.

The right-back has eleven assists this season and will be keen to add to his tally.

Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah is a very obvious choice and one most people have probably stuck with all season - bar his time at AFCON.

The Egyptian certainly hasn’t been at his best over the last few matches and is due a goal or two.

Now could be the time for his revival.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane looks back to his best recently and has scored five goals in his last four league matches.

Like Kulusevski, Kane is an attractive pick for the double gameweek and will be brimming with confidence after his brace against Everton.
