However, news from CaughtOffSide indicates that the Anfield Stadium side have been put ‘firmly on alert’ and it remains to be seen whether the 21-year-old will be swayed by the evident numerous offers coming his way or if decides to commit his future and become one of the faces for German football as a whole.

The winger’s contract with the Bundesliga giants is set to expire next summer and, according to GMS reports, there is now scope for him to make a Premier League return following his 90 appearances with Manchester City made between 2016-2020.
The report notes that Arsenal did display some interest in the ex-City star before ultimately signing Raheem Sterling on loan on Deadline Day.
They have, however, joined the Magpies in continuing to monitor how the situation develops over the course of the season, with the German international now in his final 10 months of his current contract, which sees him earn a reported £325,000-a-week.

The Chelsea defender, and part of Enzo Maresca’s ‘bomb squad’, David Datro Fofana has signed a loan deal with Goztepe SK. Taking to Twitter, the Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote: “Gotztepe SK agree loan deal with Chelsea for David Datro Fofana after AEK Athens move collapsed.
“It also includes an option to buy and a recall clause in January. CFC can bring the player back from January 1, 2025.”
The original deal with AEK included a £20 million buy option and had to be completed before the Greek transfer window closed on September 11. The Turkish window, however, shuts today allowing for the deal to be completed in time.

Hide AdFofana has only featured four times for Chelsea, spending last season on loan at both Union Berlin and Burnley. With 11 new stars coming into Stamford Bridge this summer, it appeared equally unlikely that the Ivorian international would receive any playing time this season, but a move to Turkey has now finally been secured.
