Cheikhou Kouyate ‘fails medical’ at Leeds United
Championship outfit Leeds United were looking to sign former West Ham United and Nottingham Forest player Cheikhou Kouyate on a free transfer, according to a report from Football Insider. However, the Senegalese international failed a medical with the club and the move has fallen through.
As such, Kouyate will remain a free agent, following his release from Forest in the summer. At the age of 34, he isn’t getting any younger - he will need to find a new club soon to regain any lost sharpness.
