The Premier Gospel Awards returned to Indigo at The O2 on Friday night with an unforgettable evening of music, worship and celebration.

Among the standout moments was a stirring performance from international nominee Blanca, who closed the ceremony alongside headline act Melodees from Heaven.

Backed by a live band and the soaring harmonies of the choir, Blanca delivered a moving rendition of Richard Smallwood’s gospel classic Total Praise. The performance brought the audience to its feet, uniting the crowd in a powerful finale that perfectly captured the spirit of the night, a blend of artistry, faith and community.

The evening also featured a series of electrifying performances. Rapper Guvna B joined forces with Keisha Buchanan of the Sugababes for a collaboration that drew huge cheers, while Ghetts and Sam Henshaw kept the energy high with show-stopping sets.

This year’s winners included Imrhan (Best Album), NaffymaR (Best Female), Day Three Music (Best Group), Eugy (Best Male) and Dunsin Oyekan, who took home Best International. Faith Child secured Best Video, while Lawrence Oyor & Gaise Baba won Best Song. The Choir of the Year accolade went to Clive Brown & Urban Sound, and Sounds of New Wine triumphed as Best Worship Group. Special recognition was also given to Angie Le Mar and Ghetts for their Outstanding Contributions to gospel music and culture.

Reflecting on the success of the evening, Premier Gospel Station Director Muyiwa Olarewaju OBE said: “The Premier Gospel Awards are about more than trophies, they’re a celebration of the incredible talent within the gospel community and the way this music continues to inspire, uplift, and transform lives. Last night was a true testament to the power of gospel.”

As the final notes of Total Praise echoed through the Indigo at The O2, it was clear the Premier Gospel Awards had once again delivered on their promise to create a cultural homecoming and showcase music’s power to inspire and bring people together.
