TOWIE stars Fern McCann and Billie Faiers kept apart during National Television Awards amid ongoing feud

Fern McCann and Billie Faiers walked the red carpet at the National Television Awards but inside were kept apart.

Former TOWIE best friends were spotted walking the red carpet at the NTAS on Wednesday evening (September 11) but were kept apart once inside the event. Fern McCann arrived wearing a pale blue dress and posed for photographs alone. Whilst ex-bestie Billie Faiers wore a red strapless dress and had her pictures taken with husband Greg Shepard.

Inside the star-studded event a source revealed the two ladies were kept apart despite working on the same ITV channel. A source told The Sun: “It was a logistical nightmare because despite working for the same channel, ITV had to keep them apart and they couldn’t be placed into the same hospitality boxes. It was more than a little bit awkward.”

The pair have grown up together and known each other for over 20 years. But in 2022 voice notes were leaked with Fern branding Billie’s sister Sam Faiers a “fat c***”. Despite Fern apologising and saying the voice notes were manipulated Sam and Billie still doesn't speak to Fern.

Sam Faiers fell out with Fern years before the leaked voice notes after Fern launched her ‘First Time Mum’ series in 2017. Sam reportedly felt the TOWIE star was stepping on her toes as she and her family had their own ITV series ‘The Baby Diaries/The Mummy Diaries’ which began in 2016.
