Keeping Up With The Aristocrats: ITV series release date, which aristocrats appear, and where is it filmed?

ITV’s new three-part documentary Keeping Up with the Aristocrats is set to begin on Monday 17 January at 9pm.
It will follow three different aristocrat families across a social season - the Mountbattens, the Fitzalan-Howards, and a Romanoff.

What is it about?
Keeping Up with the Aristocrats will follow four different families of the landed gentry as they prepare for a social season.
It will also offer a lighthearted look at some of the ways these families try to make even more money to help with the upkeep of their lavish homes – for example, opening a restaurant or starting a vineyard on the grounds.
Who is in it?
The first episode focuses on Lord Ivar Mountbatten and his husband James, as well as Lord and Lady Fitzalan-Howard.

Hide AdThe Mountbattens – Ivar’s grandfather was the Queen’s father-in-law – hope to start a pop-up restaurant at one of their stately homes, charging £165 per guest for a meal cooked by Michelin star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
The Fitzalan-Howards are hoping to turn part of their 3000-acre estate into a vineyard. They enlist the advice of their friends the Sitwells, owners of the UK’s most successful vineyard.
Princess Olga Romanoff, whose great uncle was the last Tsar of Russia, will also appear in the series.
How can I watch it?
Keeping Up with the Aristocrats will be available to watch on ITV at 9pm on Monday 17 January.
Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Mondays after that.
Each episode will also be available on ITV Hub.

The series is filmed across the UK at different stately homes.
The Mountbattens live in Bridwell Park, an 18th-century stately home in Devon.
Meanwhile, the Fitzalan-Howards live in 126-room Carlton Towers in Yorkshire (which is where they hope to establish their vineyard).
Princess Olga Romanoff lives in Kent, and charges visitors £14 for a tour of her home Provender House, which was built in the 13th century.
