S Club 7 reunion: 14 other artists we wish would reform after pop band confirm they’re getting back together
The pop band, who enjoyed fame in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s, have announced a comeback - so it’s made us think about who else we’d like to see return to the stage
The seven piece, made up of Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens, were famous for hits such as Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’, Never Had a Dream Come True and S Club Party. They will go on a special tour of the UK in October to commemorate their milestone anniversary, treating fans to performances of popular songs from their back catalogue.
Here at NationalWorld, their announcement made us feel nostalgic and made us consider which other artists from yesterday we would love to see return to the stage. Click through our gallery to see which 14 artists, who were active between the 1960s and 2010s, we would love to see get back together.

13. Hear’Say
Children of the ‘90s will remember Hear’Say as one of the biggest pop bands of the early 2000s. In similarity to S Club 7, who were active at the same time, the band produced a number of uplifting and catchy hits that you couldn’t help but sing along to such as Pure and Simple, The Way to Your Love and Everybody. The original five piece was made up of Danny Foster, Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan. The band was put together on ITV reality show Popstars and achieved instant success, breaking chart records with their debut single Pure and Simple and the album Popstars. Marsh left the band due to disagreements with Klass and Sullivan in January 2002 and she was replaced by Johnny Shentall. The band announced their split several months later, in October, however stating that they had been abused by the public. All members of the band have gone on to enjoy individual successes in areas of the entertainment industry, including as musicians, actors and presenters.
14. Liberty X
Liberty X was made up of the five singers who didn’t make it through to the winning band Hear’Say on TV show Popstars; Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young. Their most popular song was Just a Little, and that earned them international fame. The group, however, ultimately split in 2007 following disappointing sales of their second album. They did still achieve ten consecutive UK Top 20 singles, however, along with various charting singles worldwide which meant they had greater commercial success than Hear'Say. In 2013 Liberty X's also reformed for the ITV2 series The Big Reunion and toured until 2014. Since 2017, Heaton, Taylor and Young have performed as a girls trio, but we’d still like to see all five of them back together.
