Married at First Sight Australia 2025 filming locations: Where are the weddings, honeymoons, apartments and dinner parties?

A new series of MAFS Australia is about to begin, and it promises to be one of the sexiest and most controversial yet - as the contestants have been confirmed and they include two reality stars, a soap actor and social media influencers.

Every year, the show follows the same format - and it leads to some very dramatic scenes. First, couples meet on their wedding day and marry shortly afterwards, then they jet off on honeymoon together. After the return to Aus, all the couples move in to their own spaces in a luxury apartment block where they undergo a series of tasks in their fast tracked relationships.

Throughout the course of the experiment, they also have weekly dinner parties with the other couples and also weekly commitment ceremonies with the relationship experts, where they must decide whether or not to stay in the process. The couples who decide to stay the course must then decide at the end of the experiment if they are going to take their relationshop in to the real world at a vow renewal ceremony.

The show has some gorgeous settings, from stunning wedding venues to the super stylish apartments. So, just where are all the MAFS Aus 2025 filming locations? Keep reading to find out all you need to know.

Where are the MAFS Australia 2025 weddings filmed?

The MAFS weddings are filmed at different locations across Australia. There have been a variety of venues used in the previous two seasons, which aired in 2023 and 2024, including indoor and outdoor locations.

There’s only been one location which has been used in both series, so we could expect that this is a popular venue which may also be used in the new series. That venue was Swifts, a late-Victorian Gothic Revival home in Darling Point, Sydney. Melissa and Josh got married there in season 10, followed by Tori and Jack in season 11.

We’ll have to wait until the show airs to see what venues are chosen for the 2025 weddings, but the fact that there aren’t a number of regular locations suggests that the couples do have a say over where their wedding takes place.

Previously used locations have included Rosewood Estate in Queensland, Maroubra beach in Sydney, Kwila Lodge on the Gold Coast, Sydney Coliseum Theatre in Rooty Hill, Villa Rustica in Byron Bay and even a luxury superyacht called The Jackson on Sydney Harbour.

Where are the MAFS Australia 2025 honeymoons filmed?

In similarity to the weddings, there doesn’t seem to be a particular pattern to where the MAFS honeymoons are filmed. There are some which take place in the same broad locations series after series, but the specific areas and specific hotels the couples stay in are always different.

Some couples stay within Australia, but some go further afield. It doesn’t appear that the couples get any say in where their honeymoon location is, however, as they are filmed opening an envelope delivered to them by the experts and excitedly reading a note which tells them where they are going.

In season 11 in 2024 the couples went to Broome, Queensland, Victoria, Vanuatu, Whitsundays, Gold Coast Hinterland, Fiji and McLaren Vale. We’ll have to wait until season 12 debuts to see where this year’s couples were sent.

Where are the MAFS Australia 2025 apartments?

The MAFS Australia 2025 apartment block is the same as last years - only it’s had a name change since 2024. It’s now called One Global Resorts Green Square, but it was formally called the Skye Suites. It’s a show-stopping, stunning glass curved building, and a unique hotel designed by award-winning architect Koichi Takada. The address is 8 Tweed Place, Sydney, NSW, Australia, New South Wales.

It is possible to stay there. The apartments can be booked for overnight stays, week long stays, month-long stays or even longer. The MAFS couples stay up for two months, if they choose to stay for the duration of the experiment, but people can stay for three months, or even longer.

On the One Global Resorts website, the venue is described as “boutique serviced apartments with resort style amenity for the discerning business and leisure traveler”, which are housed within “a contemporary urban retreat”.

Travelers can choose between a selection of studios, one bed and two bed rooms. There’s also rooms with balconies, inter-connecting apartements and spaces with more than one bathroom. All rooms have been inspired by Japenese minimalism and feature textured furnishings in a palette of navy, charcoal and oatmeal, bespoke furniture, original art and luxury bedding.

The award-winning development also features a fully equipped fitness centre on site, resort-style infinity swimming pool and spa plus a soon-to-be-completed multi-purpose convention centre.

Where are the MAFS Australia 2025 dinner parties filmed?

The dinner parties take part each week once the couples have moved in together. First, there’s a cocktail party where the couples mingle, enjoy a drink and lounge on sofas. Then, they all sit around a large - and ornately decorated table - for a sit down meal.

The setting of these parties is a coverted disused industrial warehouse in Sydney’s suburb of Lilyfield. During filming, the production crew rent a 1,200 sqm loft that serves as both the Commitment Ceremony room, the dinner party room and the pre-dinner cocktail party room.

Where are the MAFS Australia 2025 commitment ceremonies filmed?

As above, the commitment ceremonies are filmed in the same location as the dinner parties - a coverted disused industrial warehouse in Sydney’s suburb of Lilyfield.
