Potter has candidly spoken about her fertility struggles on social media in the last three years. The couple have been open about the fact they have spent £15,000 on IVF treatment, have undergone three rounds of IVF and have also lost three babies.
In February 2024, they lauched a GoFundMe page, looking for donations so that they could pay for another round of IVF. Potter said at the time: "All I've ever wanted is to be a mum and this has been the hardest two years of my life. It's drained the life out of me and the fact the money is causing another strain is heartbreaking."
Potter and O'Reilly got enaged in October 2023 during a holiday to Barcelona. Taking to Instagram to announce her engagement, Potter posted a series of photos of the proposal and wrote: "So this just happened. The most perfect moment...I love you" followed by a ring emoji.
