Comedy series Wolf Like Me arrives on UK screens in February, having aired in the US last month.

Starring Isla Fisher and Josh Gad, the show is set in south Australia and tells the story of Garry (Gad) and his 11-year-old-daughter who are grieving the loss of Emma’s mother, when Mary (Fisher), an advice columnist with a dark secret comes into their lives.

The show is set in South Australia and tells the story of Garry (known as Gad for short) who lives with his 11-year-old daughter Emma.

They are suffering the loss of Emma’s mother which has had an impact on their relationship.

Emma suffers from panic attacks which is a constant burden for her now-single father who doesn’t know how to handle his child’s complex needs.

The father and daughter team are in for a wild ride when they meet Mary who is harbouring a dark secret.

Romance is soon on the cards for Garry and Mary, who cannot stop running into one another.

But the mystery surrounding Mary causes issues in their blossoming relationship.

We know that Mary is a werewolf from the start of the series but Garry and Emma do not, so the viewer follows their discovery throughout the show.

Who stars in the cast?

Isla Fisher who plays Mary in Wolf Like Me is known for her  roles in Wedding Crashers, Confessions of a Shopaholic and Now You See Me.

The Australian actress started out in Home and Away back in 1994.

Josh Gad who plays Garry played Olaf in the Frozen franchise for years but he will play something new in Wolves Like Me - a serious father.

He also starred in Beauty and the Beast as LeFou and in Ghostbusters: Afterlife as Muncher.

Other actors in Wolves Like Me include: Ariel Donoghue (Blueback, Tough) as Emma, Emma Lung as Sarah (Crave, Crush), Anthony Taufa (Zombie Bro, Down Under) as Ray and Nash Edgerton (Gringo, The Square) as Jayden.

Wolf Like Me was written and directed by Abe Forsythe.

The mini-series was produced by Stan in association with NBCUniversal and Peacock.

Is there a trailer?

The trailer for Wolves Like Me shows that it will be a big budget experience with a dramatic car crash scene happening early on in the series.

The Australian backdrop is set to be a key part of the show as we see Garry and Mary out in the desert on multiple occasions during the trailer.

Reviews suggest that it is a character driven show that adds in a sprinkling of the supernatural - mostly manifesting towards the second half of the series.

It has achieved a 91 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes (audience rating).

Where can I watch Wolf Like Me?

All six episodes will be on Amazon’s Prime Video from 25 February 2022.

It is not yet confirmed if there will be a season two of Wolves Like Me.
