The charity Sentebale was launched in 2006 to help support orphan’s mental health and wellbeing who have been affected by HIV.
Prince Harry created the organisation with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in memory of their late mothers - Sentebale translates to “forget me not” in the local language of Sethoso.
Joss Stone became an ambassador for Sentebale eight years later and even travelled to the continent to see its projects as well as perform in a charity concert with Coldplay at Kensington Palace.

Joss said: “I went to Lesotho for Harry’s charity…I love that one and got deep into it. I hope I’ll see him again one day.”

The Super Duper Love singer is currently pregnant with her second child with boyfriend Cody DaLuz.
Before attending his wedding to Suits actress Meghan Markle in May 2018, Prince Harry had surprised the British artist at the 2016 concert.
Joss spoke to Hello! Magazine and said that she tried her best to get him dancing at the fundraiser.

She said: “He’s quite shy in that way, but it depends. Last time I was singing in Lesotho he started a conga line, so I wouldn’t put it past him…he’s a fun human being.”

Joss added that she admired the way the two Princes who created Sentebale had made the children’s charity in honour of their late mothers.
“I’m very proud of anyone that would do this and he’s just a lovely guy. I’ve come into contact with Harry and William for years now and we as a country watch them grow, and we watch them do lovely things and I think all of us as a nation should be proud of those boys, those men.

“They are amazing and they represent who we are, our country, our land.”
In addition to Prince Harry’s friendship, Joss was seemingly close with Prince William too as she was invited to his wedding to Princess Catherine in 2011.
