The Queen passed away at Balmoral Castle surrounded by family on 8 September and is survived by four children, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Prince William, Princess Kate Middleton and Prince Harry have all revealed sweet moments their children shared with the late monarch in the aftermath of her passing at the age of 96.

In a video shared to TikTok, the Princess of Wales could be heard telling some kids that the whole nation was “having to be brave”.

She said: “My little Louis, this is so sweet. He said ‘Don’t worry Mummy, she is with Great-Grandpa now.’”

Louis was referring to the Queen’s husband Prince Philip who died in April 2021 aged 99.

The Royal couple were married for 75 years and were due to celebrate their Platinum wedding anniversary this November.

Alongside Princess Catherine’s touching words, video footage also shows Prince William being given a Paddington Bear toy by a young girl in light of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee sketch.

As he collected the gift, his thoughts panned to his eldest son who has now gained the title Prince George of Wales, 9.

He said: “Is that going over there or do you want me to keep it? I might give it to George, thank you very much.”

More recently at a Commonwealth reception before the Queen’s state funeral on 19 September, Princess Kate Middleton shared with Australia’s Governor-General David Hurley that Prince George is “now realising how important his great-grandmother was and what is going on.”

The 40-year-old Princess continued to say that Prince Louis is now asking questions as to whether their family summer holidays at Balmoral Castle will be the same as the Queen is not there, as the young Prince and his sister Princess Charlotte are still trying understanding the late monarch’s death.

In light of family coming together, the public were also fortunate last week to see the rare unity as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the new Prince and Princess of Wales to look at tributes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in the United Kingdom for other requirements when the Queen’s health suddenly declined.

Although news broke that both Prince Harry and Meghan were travelling to Balmoral, Prince Harry arrived at the Scottish residence alone - moments after the Queen had died.

Prince Harry shared his own loving statement on Monday 12 September about his “Granny” and revealed a special moment between his children Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet, and the Queen.

He said: “I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings - from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.

“I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between.”

Harry named his daughter as homage to his beloved Grandma whose nickname Lilibet was used by close family after the late Queen had trouble pronouncing her own name as a child.

The Queen met Lilibet for the first time in person during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations but had been introduced over a Zoom call before when Prince Harry was at his current home in California.

Prince Harry had previously told James Corden that the Queen called often and even sent Archie and Lilibet gifts.

Following the Queen’s death, it is not yet clear if Prince Harry’s children have also gained new Royal titles Prince and Princess.
