Only two days after the Premier League brought us some exciting midweek clashes, it returns again tomorrow afternoon as the table gets tighter and tighter.

Brighton will look to put an end to a miserable month when they take on Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime, before a hectic Sunday brings us a whopping six matches.

Here are our predictions...

Brighton v Liverpool

Brighton are enduring a tricky patch at the moment, suffering four successive defeats while scoring only once.

The Seagulls haven’t won at home since Boxing Day and it would be very surprising to see them return to form against Liverpool this weekend.

Despite midweek defeat to Inter, the Reds have been in brilliant form and will be confident of another victory as they look to keep up with Manchester City.

Prediction: Brighton 0-2 Liverpool

Brentford v Burnley

Brentford and Burnley both need a win in this weekend’s clash as they face off in a relegation scrap.

A win for the visitors could take them out of the relegation zone, while one for the hosts could extend the gap between themselves and the drop to nine points.

The Bees finally picked up a win against Norwich and will be hopeful of more success tomorrow afternoon, however Burnley are likely to be a much tougher challenge than the Canaries.

Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Burnley

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur

It is hard to see Manchester United pulling this one out the bag after their embarrassing defeat to rivals Man City.

Tottenham are very hit and miss at the moment, but if they can be at their best then they will be able to take all three points at Old Trafford this weekend - especially given the current form of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski.

Prediction: Man Utd 1-2 Tottenham

Chelsea v Newcastle

Chelsea seemed to be unfazed by the current controversy surrounding Roman Abramovich as they beat Norwich 3-1 midweek.

The Blues will be hoping to continue their Premier League campaign mostly undisturbed, though this weekend’s match could be their last with a full stadium.

The Chelsea faithful will be in full voice in support of their team, while Newcastle will be looking to take advantage of their opponent’s worrying current position off the field.

The Magpies are enjoying a brilliant unbeaten run and will be confident they can keep it up in London.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle

Everton v Wolves

Everton are in desperate need of a win after their terrible 5-0 defeat to Tottenham, while Wolves are coming in off the back of a 4-0 victory over Watford - their biggest top flight win since 2011.

One positive for the Toffees is the return of Dominic Calvert-Lewin who will be eager to score his first goal since August.

Wolves will be feeling a lot more relaxed than Everton this weekend, however the Merseyside club can’t face yet another defeat.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Wolves

Leeds United v Norwich City

Norwich City look destined for relegation after their disappointing defeat to Brentford, while Leeds United still have a good chance of staying up.

The return of Patrick Bamford will certainly boost the Whites and, despite their poor form, they will be confident they can finally pick up a win against the Canaries.

Southampton v Watford

Southampton’s brilliant run came to an end when they suffered a shock 4-0 defeat to Aston Villa followed by a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle on Thursday.

However, I expect them to return to winning ways when they take on Watford this weekend, with the Hornets failing to find any kind of form since Roy Hodgson’s arrival.

Prediction: Southampton 2-0 Watford

West Ham v Aston Villa

West Ham’s form has dipped slightly, while Aston Villa have regained their form - picking up three wins and three clean sheets in a row.

The likes of Philippe Coutinho, Danny Ings and Matty Cash have been exceptional and may prove too much for West Ham’s defence.

The Hammers also look a lot less of a threat without star man Jarrod Bowen.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Aston Villa

Arsenal v Leicester

Both Arsenal and Leicester have been in decent form in recent weeks and it will be a tough challenge for both sides this weekend.

The return of Jamie Vardy will certainly give Leicester an advantage, though the Gunners’ youthful attack are also likely to have a huge impact.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Leicester

Crystal Palace v Man City

Crystal Palace are one of only two teams that have managed to beat Man City this season after their shock 2-0 win in October.

There will definitely be a lot of pressure on Pep Guardiola’s side to redeem themselves, with Liverpool hot on their heels.

However, it would be a surprise to see the Eagles do the double over them and I fully expect another Everton scenario - a tight game until a VAR decision, or a very late City goal.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Man City
