The Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts 2021 got underway on 13 November 2021 and has already seen history be made with British player Fallon Sherrock becoming the first female player to reach the last 16 of the event.

The fans have once again returned to the event after last year’s event was played behind closed doors in 2020.

Jose De Sousa became the sixth player to win the event in 2020 after he beat James Wade to lift the Eric Bristow Trophy and win his first major title.

The World number one Gerwyn Price has returned to the action and will hope that the return of the fans as well as the return to Wolverhampton will help him achieve the success he saw in 2018 and 2019.

The final of the event is due to take place on Sunday 21 November 2021.

What is the prize money for the Grand Slam of Darts?

The winner of the event is set to make £125,000 with the runner up taking home £65,000. Semi-finalists will earn £40,000 and quarter-finalists will make £20,000 from the event.

Those who make it to the last 16 will take away £10,000, while those in the group stages will earn £7,500 and £4,000 for respective third and fourth place group finishes.

Players who won their group will also earn an additional £3,500 bonus.
