Earl Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana has married archaeologist and podcast co-host Prof Cat Jarman in Arizona. Four weeks ago Cat Jarman took to Instagram and wrote: “I’ve been to Oslo this week to continue my work helping to advise on the content of the new Museum of the Viking Age. We got a sneak preview inside: I’m not allowed to share photos but it’s STUNNING. Even better than I thought! The ships have safely been moved into their new locations - see @vikingtidsmuseet for videos.
It’s due to open next year.

“During her last years she found great comfort after converting to Roman Catholicism. Until her health gave out she would help take very unwell children on pilgrimage to Lourdes.

“My mother’s was a home birth in Park House, on the Sandringham estate, where we also grew up. Coincidentally on the very same day she was born - 20 January 1936 - King George V died, 1 mile away, in Sandringham House.”
