Married at First Sight star Tasha Jay says 'it's not a good day' as she rushes to hospital with knee injury
The TV personality, who appeared on the hugely popular reality dating show last year, took to her Instagram Stories yesterday (Monday September 2) to share a photo of herself sitting in the hospital waiting room looking miserable.
In the caption, she wrote: “It’s just not a good day for me.” A short while later, she shared a follow-up post of herself standing outside the hospital outside on crutches. Her expression revealed that she was less than impressed, although in the caption, she added: “If I don’t laugh I’ll cry.”

In the video, she said: “Just a quick one guys, I’m AOK. So last year I mashed-up my knee at carnival and then I refused physio afterwards. . .”
She went on: “It’s been getting worse and worse as the year’s gone by, and then the past few weeks it has been really bad, and then carnival came along and it's going bad once again.
“So basically, my bone’s come out, my ligament’s all damaged, and I’m not well Michelle.” Keeping her spirits high, she concluded: “But I’m fine! But I’m not . . . but I am!”

Hide AdIt’s not the only medical issue Jay has suffered from. Last year, she revealed she had undergone surgery on her hand, saying she was left “traumatised” by the procedure.
"Awful, awful. I've got no words, I'm traumatised,” she said on her Instagram page at the time. “Today has been awful. Not to scare anyone that's having the surgery done but everyone that told me it didn't hurt, you liars, liars.
She went on: "I screamed, I filled three sick bowls and nearly passed out. Disgusting.” She then said the pain came from attempts to numb the area doctors wanted to work on.
"Honestly I feel so sorry for myself, you should have seen me trying to open my mascara, I had to use my mouth. Thank you to everyone who has wished me well, I'm going to try and get some rest. And hopefully wake up and my hand is still there," she added.

Hide AdJay ‘married’ her partner Paul Liba, age 27, on MAFS UK 2023 when they met for the first time at the altar. The show sees couples meet for the first time on their wedding day, and then undergo a series of tasks set by experts so they can see if their relationships really can blossom. The marriages are, however, not legally binding.
Jay and Liba are the only couple who are still together from the 2023 UK series. Having now been together for a year, Jay says she would like to get married for real. “The chemistry’s still there. I’m waiting on a real ring though, just saying,” she said in a recent interview. “We want a big wedding, big diamond. That’s what I need.”
