M&S has revealed how shoppers can tune into its London Fashion Week show, with the big catwalk show just days away.

Marks and Spencer is about to make fashion history, with the high street favourite preparing to take to the London Fashion Week catwalk for the very first time.

The retailer will make its LFW debut this Friday (September 18), marking a major moment as it celebrates 100 years of fashion. The show promises to bring together some of its biggest womenswear and menswear collections in one fashion-forward showcase.

The show will feature pieces from Collection, Per Una and Autograph, with M&S promising to reimagine some of its most iconic fashion moments for a modern audience.

That means shoppers can expect the familiar M&S aesthetic, but with a more directional and elevated feel designed specifically for the catwalk.

Plus, perhaps most importantly for shoppers, this won’t be fashion that's just for the runway. People will be able to watch the show from home, and everything showcased on the catwalk will be instantly available to buy. This means viewers won't have to wait months for the pieces to arrive in stores or wonder where they can find a particular look.

M&S is also placing value firmly at the heart of the show. While London Fashion Week is known for showcasing luxury labels and eye-catching designer collections, M&S is focusing its debut around fashion that is both aspirational and accessible.

The result could be an interesting contrast to some of the more exclusive shows taking place during LFW, particularly for shoppers looking for looks they can atually own themselves without a designer-sized budget.

With the show now just a week away, there is still plenty that M&S is keeping under wraps. But, they have revealed when the show will take place and how people can watch. The retailer has announced that shoppers can visit their official Instagram page at 6pm on Friday to see the show.

Writing on Instagram earlier today, Tuesday September 15, the retailer said: “After 100 years of dressing the nation, we’re about to make our London Fashion Week debut. The collection is ready. The catwalk is waiting. The countdown is almost over.Tune in on Instagram this Friday at 6pm to see our biggest fashion moment yet.”

For M&S fans, fashion followers and anyone curious to see what the high street giant has been working on, 6pm on September 18 should definitely be marked in their calendar.

After a century of fashion, M&S is stepping onto one of the industry's biggest stages. And if its promise of elevated, directional and accessible style is anything to go by, its first London Fashion Week show could give shoppers plenty of inspiration for the season ahead.

TOG24

☀️ Summer may be fading, but this deal is scorching. The TOG24 Jacinda Women’s Supersoft Jersey Playsuit has plummeted from £50 to just £8, saving shoppers £42 in a huge 84% reduction.

💗 Made mainly from soft viscose and cotton, the bright pink playsuit features an elasticated drawstring waist, back-button fastening and two handy hip pockets. It’s an easy throw-on outfit for holidays, warm weekends or getting next summer’s wardrobe sorted ludicrously early.

⚠️ The catch? Only selected sizes are still available, and an £8 clearance price is unlikely to help them hang around. Check whether your size has survived here.
