7 new reality dating shows are coming to Netflix in 2026 - but there's one in particular that I'm really looking forward to
Several new reality dating shows are coming to Netflix this year - but there’s one that I’m looking forward to seeing more than most.
2026 will be a year to love for dating show fans as there’s seven new shows coming throughout the next 12 months - and that’s just on Netflix.
Some of the series are returning favourites, such as Love is Blind and Perfect Match, while others are brand new releases such as Age of Attraction.
As an avid fan myself, I can’t wait to watch them all - but there is one that I’m excited to watch above all others. Surprisingly, it’s not Love is Blind. I will watch LIB, and there is a part of me that’s looking forward to it, but I have to admit after nobody got married during season 8 the show has somewhat lost it’s shine for me. But, I do have hope that season 10 could help me to fall back in love with the show.
The show I am waiting for is Love on the Spectrum. The sweet and wholesome dating show, which follows people on the autism spectrum as they search for the one across the US will be back for season 4. It will pick up where season 3 left off, so viewers will finally find out which couples who ended the season loved up are still together.
The reason Love on the Spectrum has become my favourite Netflix dating show is simple; it’s real and honest - and it’s frequently heartwarming. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you smile . . . sure, there are heartbreaking moments, as there always are when it comes to the search for love sadly, but the happy moments far outweigh the sad. Plus, even in moments of romantic disappointment, the cast are always shown being supported by their friends and family so there is always love felt radiating through the screen.

Love on the Spectrum is created in a more fly-on-the-wall documentary style than other dating shows, and as a result it just feels more authentic. There’s no dramatic challenges or tasks added in by producers, for example, to help create the story of the show. It just is what it is; the cameras capture real experiences and that’s it. It’s refreshing and the perfect watch to remember all the good things about the world.
Love on the Spectrum is just one of many dating shows coming to Netflix this year, however, and I will be watching all of them. Keep reading to find out all we know about each show, including the all-important air dates.
