‘Love Island’ 2024 contestant Harriet Blackmore has caught the attention of former Love Islander Andrew Le Page - and not in a good way.

Love Island’ contestant Harriett Blackmore has certainly made an impression, as just hours after entering the villa she’s been accused of being a ‘cheat’ by an ex-islander.

The 24-year-old, who is a dancer and personal shopper, was hit with claims she had a secret boyfriend as soon as it was announced she was one of the original 12 contestants who had signed up for on-going 11th series, which started earlier this week. Fans said they had recently seen videos of her apparent boyfriend Josh Curling, aged 25, on her social media - and questioned whether she was single or not. However, in an interview with ‘The Sun’ before her entry in to the villa, Blackmore insisted herself and Curling split-up in January.

But, now even that has been called into question - by none other than former Love Islander Andrew Le Page, who shot to fame on the ITV dating show alongside now girlfriend Tasha Ghouri in 2022. Writing on Instagram, Andrew, age 29, said of Harriett: "[She] just say she's been single for four months. The application process is longer than that."

Brighton-born Blackmore says she up for the ITV 2 dating show in the hope of finding somone to settle down with. She is joined by fellow Welsh resident Ciaran Davies, whom she’s currently paired up with, along with make-up artist Samantha Kenny, model Patsy Field and accounts manager Nicole Samuel.

When asked why she was taking part in ‘Love Island’ this year in a pre-show interview with ITV, she said: “I’ve recently come out of a three year relationship, so it’s time for me to open a new chapter in my life, hopefully I’ll find love in the villa.” She also confidently declared herself a catch, adding that she has “the looks to match”.

Then asked what she would bring to the villa, the TV star, who names Youtuber and former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant Saffron Barker as her best friend, said: “For the boys, entertainment, a bit of fun and flirting. I’ll definitely up the flirting. For the girls, I’m a really good friend.” She added: “I’ll bring the entertainment for everyone in the villa, whether that’s making the girls laugh or making the boys turn their heads, I’m sure that I’ll bring the drama.”

Asked why she is single, she said: “I’ve just not found the one yet, I haven’t met someone that ticks all the boxes.” She went on to say that she was looking for someone with “loyalty and trust” because “they come as one”. She continued: “Good looks and personality are important too, I need someone with good energy that I can bounce off.”

Finally, she revealed that her secret skill was being able to do the splits, and promised that her party trick will come out when she’s had a few drinks. Her celebrity crushes are football sensation David Beckham, ‘Magic Mike’ actor Channing Tatum and ‘Gossip Girl’ actor Ed Westwick.
